Plastic and aesthetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty)

Your gaze in focus

The key facts for you at a glance: upper and lower eyelid lift

Do you wish for an more alert, fresher expression?

The eye area is the centre of our non-verbal communication. With increasing age, the particularly thin and sensitive skin around the eye loses elasticity – accelerated by UV radiation, lack of sleep, nicotine, alcohol and stress. Genetic factors also play a role.
On the upper eyelid, excess skin bulges over the lashes and covers the eyelid crease – the gaze appears heavy, tired or sad.
On the lower eyelid, the orbital septum – a fine layer of connective tissue that holds the fatty tissue in the eye socket – slackens over time. When it drops, the typical bulges arise that we perceive as under-eye bags. These are clearly distinct from simple dark circles – dark areas of skin caused by a lack of oxygen in the blood.
At our practice for oral and maxillofacial surgery, in cooperation with specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery, we combine the highest aesthetic sensitivity with surgical excellence to give you back your natural radiance.

Upper eyelid lift: liberation for the gaze

The correction of the upper eyelids (upper blepharoplasty) is one of the most effective and at the same time low-risk procedures in plastic and aesthetic facial surgery – with a great aesthetic effect for a comparatively short procedure.

Lower eyelid lift: contour instead of under-eye bags

The lower eyelid lift (lower blepharoplasty) is anatomically considerably more demanding than the upper eyelid correction and should be performed exclusively by surgeons with many years of experience in reconstructive surgery. Differences in quality are particularly conspicuous here – literally.

Why should you come to us?

As specialists in plastic and aesthetic surgery with great expertise in reconstruction, we know the highly sensitive anatomy around the eye – a complex interplay of bone, muscles, fat compartments and wafer-thin skin. Mistakes have an immediate effect and are often difficult to correct.

Your path to a radiant eye area

An eyelid lift is a small procedure with a big effect. In a personal consultation at our practice – which with us can take up to an hour – we will gladly analyse your eye area in detail and discuss the method best suited to you. Every eye area is individual: is a minimal lift sufficient? Is an additional brow lift advisable? We clarify all of this at our practice for oral and maxillofacial surgery together with our specialists.

Your individual solution

Every person is unique – which is why we take the time that is needed. In a detailed initial consultation, we discuss all the options, the procedure and possible risks together. Your requirements and needs are always the focus. Based on your wishes, we draw up a clear, comprehensible treatment and cost plan.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU!
