Facial trauma surgery

The traumatology of the oral, jaw and facial region deals with the diagnosis and treatment of injuries to the teeth, the jawbones, the facial soft tissues and the bony structures of the midface and the orbit (eye socket). Such injuries can result from accidents, sports injuries or acts of violence. Our practice specialises in the surgical and conservative restoration of form and function after facial injuries. This includes the treatment of jaw fractures, zygomatic (cheekbone) fractures, orbital floor fractures as well as complex midface fractures and soft-tissue injuries. The aim is always an anatomically correct reconstruction with aesthetic considerations in mind and the fastest possible rehabilitation. We ensure emergency care and comprehensive follow-up.
