Laser surgery and laser therapy have become established in oral and maxillofacial surgery as a modern and tissue-sparing treatment alternative. The use of medical lasers enables extremely precise incisions, effective haemostasis and often faster wound healing with fewer postoperative complaints. In our practice, we use laser technology in various areas, for example to remove soft-tissue changes in the oral cavity (e.g. fibromas, haemangiomas), in periodontal therapy, to reduce bacteria, in pain therapy or in certain procedures of aesthetic facial surgery.
